Just wanted to inform my regular readers (and those who visit my blog) that I will be going on a much-needed vacation early next month. I'll be back before July is over, surely with lots of stories to share. 'Til then...stay safe and be happy!

But, it is also one of the most fulfilling things in the world; to see your child grow up into a well-rounded, responsible and happy individual is priceless.

You've Got to See This

I saw this great video on YouTube and wanted to share it with fellow Orblers. This video features two musicians who belong to different age groups and live about 2,000 miles apart. They managed to create a video without meeting each other in person. Yup, this is what they call a YouTube collaboration and it came out pretty well. Love the song too!

Another great website is FunBrain; it has lots of fun stuff to play online or print out, for kids in Kindergarten to 8th grade.

Two hundred fifty students in 7th and 8th grades who attends the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth received awards for scoring high on their SAT's. You can read more of this story here.
