Yes, Little Girl, There is A Santa

December 17th 2008 05:33
A "Dear Santa" letter turned in by a 9 year old girl to her teacher resulted in the arrest of her 55 year old relative. In the letter, the girl wished her relative would stop touching her and her sister. Thankfully, school officials and authorities took the letter seriously and arrested Andres Enrique Cantu. Let's repeat his name - ANDRES ENRIQUE CANTU.

This story is just heartbreaking, but I'm glad the girl and her sister will finally break free from the abuse they were subjected to. As for the abuser, I hope you get the punishment you so deserve. People like you are sickening; preying on innocent children and robbing them of their childhood. It's just appalling!

More on this story here.

Cram I Am (No Longer)

December 16th 2008 06:22
One of my closest friends do her Christmas shopping months in advance, while I often end up doing my shopping on the last minute. However, this year I'm proud to say that as of today, I''m finished with my gift-shopping! By my track record that really is a miracle.

While I was shopping, I couldn't help but be amazed at the large assortment of toys out in the market today. Some of the newest toys I purchased this year include Martian Matter, iDog Ampd, Rubiks Revolution and my fave - Night Vision Infrared Stealth Goggles. Of course, classic toys such as Barbies and gameboards are mainstays on my Christmas shopping list.
