Jigsaw puzzles were always one of my favourite family activities. Well at least they were a family thing for us. We have one huge puzzle that was done in gilted foil that is framed and on my Grandmothers wall.

Another one for us was making gifts with my Mum being really arty. We also made our own XMas decorations etc.

We have exciting plans starting this Sunday. We are leaving for a vacation to Washington DC for a week. We have reservations to go into the Capital building. We homeschool our teens and we are also going in the Holacaust museum. We studied the holacaust this year.

Sven Topp, oh yes, puzzles are great too, although I'm really slow at it. My daughter and husband on the other hand are really good with puzzles.

charliesgirl_992000, that sounds exciting! I love going to museums and I think it's great that you homeschool. I homeschooled my daughter for a year and enjoyed every minute of it.
