Finally, Hubby Admits I Am Boss
March 20th 2007 05:30
We've heard it before - the secret to a lasting marriage is learning to compromise, being respectful and understanding of our spouse's feelings, etc., etc. But there is one factor that should always be present in a marriage if we want it to remain strong - HUMOR.
Last weekend hubby and I were having a bit of a tiff, it wasn't anything especially important, it's just one of those days when we seemed to get into each other's nerves easily. After a heated argument in the privacy of our bedroom, hubby left in a huff which, of course, made me more peeved.
Just when I thought our weekend was ruined, he returned home less than an hour later and without a word placed two pieces of paper on the table. I, of course out of curiousity, picked it up and read it:
Upon reading this I'm sure you'll understand why we made peace.

Mum's Word
That's great Hope. My daughter and I were having a disagreement about something and after she thought about what I had said she came to me with a note she had written. It read "Yes, mum. You're write".
Grammatically incorrect, I don't care. I've kept it and show her all the time
Love & stuff

Mrs. M,
Awww that's so sweet. Don't you just love it when your kids writes to you? My daughter likes making small cards and she usually scribbles something inside it that makes me smile. Even if it's spelled wrong it's so touching.
lilla,
LOL, nah I didn't, but I did keep it on file
