Fire Safety Lesson Plans

January 28th 2009 12:19
A few years ago, a building near our home caught on fire due to faulty electrical wiring. Since then, my family and I have made a fire escape plan so we can be prepared for such accidents. It's very important to discuss fire safety with your children and device an effective escape route. Yes, accidents happen but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be prepared for it. Here are some lesson plans you can use in your home or classroom:

Fire Safety for Young Children

Fire Lessons from NYS Dept. of State
Fire Curriculum For Students
Fire Safety: Activities to Spark Learning
Basic Fire Safety from USFA Kids
Lesson Plans from FireSafety.Gov for Kids
