I allow my daughter access to the internet either to do research or to play games. I do monitor her when she's online 'cause you never know what will pop up on the screen. Here are some online games we've discovered that gives kids freedom to create, explore and be imaginative.

Bananaboo - Online activities for 4 to 8 year olds

Mum's Word

That Jackson Pollock one sounds intriguing. At the National Art Gallery here in Oz there's a Jackson Pollock worth $2million hanging on a wall. When my daughter was 2 1/2 we went to the gallery and she made a run for the Pollock. 2 security guards went after her. Thankfully she didn't get to the Pollock before the guards got to her. We left soon after that.

Gifted Parenting

LOL, what an amusing story. I remember seeing this clip on tv where a toddler started stomping her foot all over a chalk portrait on the floor which was on exhibit. When the mother noticed what her child was doing, the artwork was already ruined.
