Great Board Games for Children

We love playing boardgames, not only is it fun it's educational as well. Here are some of the boardgames we have at home:

Candyland - This is the first boardgame my daughter played. it's very simple to play and it teaches color recognition. It features the Candyland characters by Hasbro.

Monopoly Junior (Lemonade) - The kiddie version of the classic Monopoly game. Here the object of the game is to have as many lemonade stands as you can without going bankrupt. Great for teaching math skills and learning about strategy.

Connect Four - From Milton Bradley, is a game even adults will have a blast playing. The object of the game is to get your colored pieces (either black or red) to connect either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Fosters math and thinking skills.

What is your favorite boardgame?
