Meet Turf

My daughter has been begging us to adopt a puppy for some time. Problem is the contract on our lease states "no pets allowed". So unless there is some way we can sneak in a puppy in our apartment without alerting the owver, our daughter's request is on hold
Nevertheless just to cheer her up, I adopted a virtual pet...and you can too! Aaah, can you tell I have a lot of time on my hands today?
I think having a pet is a good way to teach children about responsibility and caring. My parents loved animals and as a child I grew up sorrounded by different types of pets - cats, dogs, birds, chicks, roosters, pigs, sometimes toads and even mice. So at a young age I already knew how to care for and nurture others. Hopefully by next year we will be able to move into a place we can call ours and finally be able to grant our daughter's wish.
In the meantime, we have turf
