The Rise and Fall of A Prodigy

"Lost Genius", a book by Kevin Bazzana, chronicles the life of a piano prodigy named Ervin Nyiregyhazi. I must admit I've never heard of Nyiregyhazi.or his music until now.

Read the book review from the Chicago Tribune. I also found a short clip of him playing the role of Franz Liszt in the movie"The Lost Zeppelin" (he's the one playing the piano).




I'm very interested in reading the book and getting to know Nyiregyhazi. From what I've read online it seems he lived a fascinating life beset with personal struggles.
