What is your favorite board game?

One of my fondest childhood memories is playing board games with my family and friends. Yes, even though I was (and still am) a lousy player, board games are still my favorite boredom-fighting, family-bonding activity.
Some of the games I've played as a child are:
Monopoly (of course)
Scrabble
Cluedo
Pictionary
Boggle
Snakes & Ladders
Games of the General
Chess
Checkers
Aside from being fun, board games can be a great learning tool. It can teach strategy skills, deductive reasoning, math concepts and sportsmanship. And as I've mentioned, it's a good activity for family-bonding moments or to beat boredom on a rainy day. As a family, we make it a point to play board games on the weekends. Some of the games we currently have are Junior Monopoly, Connect Four, Candyland, Tumble, Operation and Deal or No Deal.
Choose games that are appropriate for the age of your children and also consider their interests when choosing which board game to purchase. Then, make these games a part of family-time and you'll be creating fond memories for your kids.
