What is your personality type?

I'm currently taking a writing class and one of the things we discussed recently is how your personality affects your writing. There is a personality indicator based on C.J. Jung's theory about the human psyche, it's called the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or MBTI.
Based on this there are 16 identified personality types, I found out that mine is ISFJ or Dominant Introverted Sensing. According to the test, people with this personality type are "dependable, reliable and trustworthy, loyal, conventional, likes to volunteer, have good memory". What hit home is that when ISFJ's start a project they will see it to the end. That is so me.
Although there are no clear-cut ways of identifying ones personality accurately, i must admit the MBTI is quite interesting.
There is a short version available online here, answer the four questions and see what your personality type is. The online version is just a summarized questionaire, if you want a more detailed result you can take the MBTI test offerred in your area.

It does seem to fit me pretty well - I am a very reflective person who needs 'cave time' to recharge, but I also find that being around people motivates me. I use intuition and a creative approach to making decisions. I am very sensitive to the feelings of others and dislike conflict. I am also quite routine-driven and tend to have a plan for where I want to go.

That's great that you've taken the tests before and always get the same results. Others get a different result after taking the test years later. Our results are almost similar except mine is Sensing and yours is Intuitive.

Yep, that does sound a fair bit like me, although I must admit with one of the 4 questions, the 2nd one I think it was, I had some crossover to the other answer which made it harder to pick, but anyway....very interesting. : )

I got INTJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging). I just read the "analysis" (Dominant Introverted Intuition) and that is so scary. Very true and very scary. What an interesting exercise. Thanks for that Hope.

I am an ENTP (Extrovert, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving) and read the description, which was pretty accurate. I had to do thios for work about 10 years agao and had the same result!
