Yup, I admit I am. I think all parents are because we are naturally proud of our children. I do however try not to push my daughter too hard or to pass my unfulfilled dreams on to her. I try to take my cue from her when it comes to exploring new activities for her to try. For example, this summer she wanted to take swimming lessons and of course we let her.
But sometimes I do cross the line from being supportive to overbearing and I have to mentally remind myself not to push her too hard.
